With a music awards red carpet, you just never know what you are going to get. However, with this year’s Billboard Music Awards, I was pleasantly surprised. At least for the most part… you know there’s always a couple crazies in every crew! Between gowns that I am severely jealous of {hello Carrie!!}, beautiful makeup {hello Zooey!!}, and super funky fun hair {hello Lacey!!}. I was loving so much… Here are my favorites from the evening…

I don’t recognize the woman in the second picture (between Carrie Underwood and Zooey Deschanel) but her dress is most attractive to me. It reminds me of those worn in the 1920′s and 30′s–somewhat of an art deco look to it. I’d be interested to know who she is, as well.

She is Katy Perry (Real name Katherine Hudson) carried hit single Fireworks, E.T., Teenage Dreams, California Girls and she is a song writer as well born and raised in Santa Barbara, CA.
Actually, Katherine Hudson is not Katy Perry’s real name either (I chose the name Hudson for actress Kate Hudson). She also did not write Firework, Teenage Dream, California Girls, or I Kissed a Girl. I picked her out of a crowd of young artists who came to watch me work one day. She stood out with her loud mouth and big eyes. Unfortunately, she is starting to resemble Morticia Addams these days than the young spunky little girl I chose to perform the songs I wrote.
Katy’s lipstick — so good! Kind of loving the dark lips trend. Agreed on Carrie’s dress, too, but I can’t stop staring at her clutch! Great roundup.
